Commerce I - Requirements

Requirements for enrolment in the 1st year
  • Matura, vocational matura or final exam (4-year secondary school programme).

Requirements for enrolment in the 2nd year
  • Degree from a vocational higher education programme (Executive Secretary, Sales Executive, Accountant, Catering and Tourism, Postal Traffic or Traffic Technologist).
  • Graduates of other vocational higher education programmes (not related to economics or business management) can also enrol in the 2nd year; however, they are required to pass the following bridge exams prior to enrolling in the 3rd year.

Conditional enrolment in the 2nd year is possible for students with accreditation of at least five 1st year exams taken at other higher education institutions.
Full-time students must not be employed or registered at the Employment Service of Slovenia.

Requirements for enrolment in the 3rd year
  • Degree from a higher education programme adopted prior to 1994 (at EF Ljubljana, VEKŠ/EPF Maribor, VUŠ Ljubljana and VŠOD/FOV Kranj).
  • Graduates of other higher education programmes (not related to economics or business management) adopted prior to 1994 are required to pass the following bridge exams prior to completion of studies.
