Requirements

Candidates for the master’s study programme can enrol in the 1st year or directly into the 2nd year if they fulfil the following requirements for enrolment.

Requirements for enrolment in the 1st year

Candidates with 1st cycle degrees from the following institutions can enrol in the 1st year:
  • vocational higher education programmes evaluated with 180 ECTS credit points and related to economics, business, organisation and administrative sciences, or social and legal studies;
  • study programmes related to other fields and evaluated with at least 180 ECTS credit points. Graduates of these programmes are required to pass additional exams in undergraduate programme courses for 12 ECTS credit points: Introduction to Economics (7 CP) and Human Resource Management (5 CP). These exams are not a requirement for enrolment but must be passed prior to completion of studies. Candidates can fulfil these requirements either by attending lectures or studying independently (by agreement with the course lecturer).

Requirements for enrolment in the 2nd year

Candidates with degrees from the following institutions can enrol in the 2nd year:
  • 1st cycle university programmes (4 years) evaluated with 240 ECTS credit points and related to economics, business, organisation and administrative sciences, or social and legal studies;
  • 1st cycle university programmes (4 years) evaluated with 240 ECTS credit points and related to other fields. Graduates of these programmes are required to write a seminar paper for Research Methodology or Company Strategy and Development.

Requirements for enrolment are the same for graduates who completed 1st cycle study programmes in Slovenia and for those who studied abroad.

The implementation of the postgraduate Commerce programme will include foreign lecturers who will lecture in a foreign language (normally English).
