The Faculty for Commercial and Business Sciences is organising the Second International Scientific Conference with the working title Knowledge and Business Challenges of Globalisation in 2010, which will be held between 18 and 19 November 2009, at the Faculty for Commercial and Business Sciences in Celje. We shall hold plenary sessions and organised sections on various topics. Presenting their work will be numerous international researchers and experts who share our domestic associates’ interest in exchanging their research results and pioneering the most advanced knowledge in economy, commercial science, business informatics and tourism. The Conference presents an excellent opportunity for students to participate in research and development with their projects and to try their hand at professional debates.

Planned topics of the Conference

• Contemporary solutions in business informatics and e-business
• Quality trends in education and knowledge management
• Tourism and challenges in sustainable development
• Current aspects of entrepreneurship and marketing
• Challenges in finance, accounting and banking

An invitation to participate

We invite authors to register the summary of their paper at the Conference website. On the basis of the registration of the title and summary of your paper, we will send you an e-mail notifying you whether your registration of the paper summary has been accepted by 15 June 2010. You will be able to submit a full paper at our website from 15 June till 15 July 2010. The length of the full paper is limited to 15,000 characters (spaces included) or to 8 pages. Papers must follow the outline.

Important dates

• by 30 June 2010 – registration, including summaries of papers
• 20 August 2010 – submission of papers
• 22 September 2010 – notification to authors of the acceptance of their papers
• 12 October 2009 – submission of final versions of papers and registration for the Conference
