[vc_row][vc_column][vc_column_text]The FCBS has established a consistent system for monitoring and assuring quality, including self-evaluation and the use of specific quality assurance instruments.<\/span><\/p>\n

In line with applicable laws, regulations, and European standards, the FCBS ensures:<\/span>
\n– real-time monitoring of the quality, competitiveness, and efficiency of its educational, research, and professional activities;<\/span>
\n– periodic self-evaluations;<\/span>
\n– collection and analysis of student results and overall educational outcomes;<\/span>
\n– identification of deficiencies and discrepancies between planned activities and achievements; and<\/span>
\n– involvement of staff, students, and other stakeholders in quality assessments.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Self-evaluation at FCBS regularly includes:<\/span>
\n– evaluation of teaching processes and other activities;<\/span>
\n– assessment of resources, financial performance, and development in the national and international context;<\/span>
\n– recording of deficiencies and achievements; and<\/span>
\n– preparation of improvement proposals.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n

Quality monitoring covers: integration in the environment, faculty operations, staff, students, facilities (premises, equipment, library, IT, funding), quality and innovation, and the organization and implementation of study programmes. <\/span>Key quality assurance instruments include planning, reporting, self-evaluation, external evaluations, and accreditations. Annual planning and reporting follow the FCBS strategy, work programme, and financial plan. <\/span>Self-evaluation reports summarize achievements, deficiencies, and proposed improvements. They form the basis for external evaluations by the National Agency of the Republic of Slovenia for Quality Assurance in Higher Education, which assess all fields defined in the accreditation criteria.<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The Quality Assurance Committee is responsible for:<\/span>
\n– preparing the self-evaluation report and publishing it to staff and students;<\/span>
\n– reviewing the annual work programme and reports;<\/span>
\n– discussing evaluation results and quality improvement measures;<\/span>
\n– monitoring student surveys and the overall quality assurance system; and<\/span>
\n– collaborating with the National Agency.<\/span>
\n<\/span><\/p>\n
